The District Council of Peterborough has put in motion A five-year roadmap to build tourism which includes increased promotion, attractions and experiences for visitors.
The council’s Tourism and Community Development Manager Megan Cusack said Peterborough was in the middle of its peak time at the moment, and that Peterborough had seen plenty of events that attracted visitors, including the Peterborough Rodeo in January and the Peterborough Art and Cultural Festival during Easter, however community feedback had indicated other things they wanted to see, with people mentioning they wanted to see more music and concerts, as well as some sort of country show or field days
