Electric car owners will soon be able to drive across Australia without the stress of running out of charge.
The NRMA has received funding from the Federal Government to install 117 fast chargers on Aussie highways, with sites planned for Port Pirie, Port Augusta and Pimba.
Once installed, the chargers will be 150 kilometres apart and plug power will range from 75 kilowatts to around 300.
