The SA Ambulance Service recruitment drive has seen an impressive response from the Upper Spencer Gulf, with 178 volunteers stepping forward to join the service.
As part of the “Answer the Call” campaign, individuals from Port Augusta and surrounding areas have expressed their willingness to help in stations across country SA.
While nearly 40 stations were identified as having the highest need for volunteers, applications have poured in from all over the state.
SAAS say they’re thrilled with the response and encourage others to consider volunteering as well, highlighting that no prior medical knowledge is required, as training will be provided.
