An Italian tourist accused of killing an elderly couple and their daughter in a road crash in the Mid North faced court last Wednesday, 17 January.
84-year-old Cynthia Clark and her 54-year-old daughter Jacquie died at the scene when Gabriele Cairo’s van collided with their Honda in Everard Central on October 31, 2023.
Backseat passenger, 86-year-old John Clark, died in hospital a week later.

The 28-year-old was charged with death by dangerous driving and causing serious harm by dangerous driving.
The case was adjourned with investigations still underway, and Mr Cairo will appear before the judge again in March.
