Five Liberal Party members have nominated for pre-selection for the Federal Seat of Grey when Rowan Ramsey retires at the upcoming election.
Two nominees are from the Spencer Gulf and Mid North region, including Tom Venning from Barunga, and Whyalla police officer Matt Sampson.
Another two live on the Eyre Peninsula, including Kimba Mayor Dean Johnson and former paramedic from Warramboo Suzanne Waters.

The last nominee is Rikki Lambert who previously worked as a staffer for Family First senator Bob Day.
Grey is the second largest electorate in the country, encompassing 92 per cent of SA.
