In honour of Landcare Week (5-11 August), Landcare Australia kicked off their annual $300,000 grant program yesterday, 7 August.
Grants from $5,000 to $20,000 are available as part of the Landcare Australia Community Grants Program, which will help revive nature, boost biodiversity and support volunteers.
The program is open to all landcare groups and community-led environmental groups.

Activities that can receive funding include protecting waterways, restoring wildlife habitat, educational workshops, installing signage, managing weeds and feral pests, working with Traditional Owners and First Nations organisations, and more.
Residents have until 20 September to apply.
