An ultralight aircraft crashed near the Quorn Racecourse yesterday afternoon, 14 August.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene around 4:40 pm after receiving reports of the gyrocopter crash.
The aircraft collided with a structure and vehicle at the racecourse.

The 33-year-old Mid North pilot sustained serious lacerations and was taken to hospital, but his injuries aren’t considered life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation.
