A man has faced court after a string of charges in Port Augusta last week.
The 45-year-old was seen behaving erratically after he drove himself to the local police station just after 6am on Friday, 28 February.
Police attempted to conduct a drug driving test with the man but he refused.
Police searched his car – where they allegedly found a nulla-nulla, machete, slingshot and cannabis seeds.
The 45-year-old local man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, failing to submit to a drug driving test and carrying an offence weapon. He was also issued with a cannabis expiation notice and a six-month loss of licence.
He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court today. His vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
