Another Whyalla athlete takes on Paris

The HMAS Whyalla will be lit up in green and gold tonight in support of local athlete Sam White.

Sam is representing Australia in Paris as part of the wheelchair basketball team, the Rollers.

Their campaign gets underway at 5 am our time tomorrow, and the second game is also tomorrow at 8:15 pm.

Whyalla City Council encourages locals to get around Sam just like they did for bronze-medallist Leigh Hoffman during his Paris campaign.

The HMAS Whyalla will be lit up every night from tonight until 8 September.
