A CFS volunteer firefighter has suffered burn injuries while working to extinguish the ongoing scrub fire in Wilmington.
The CFS confirmed earlier this week that the volunteer was receiving medical attention.
The large fire has been burning since Monday, with a warning to nearby residents to monitor conditions and avoid the area.
