Eight people have been arrested for the sale and supply of illicit during a targeted police operation on the Spencer Gulf.
Those arrested have since been charged with trafficking a controlled drug, after the Operation’s launch in December.
Five premises have been searched and over 150 charges of trafficking in a controlled drug have been laid.
This includes seven seizures, capturing over 200 exhibits including in excess of 1.3kg of Methamphetamine, with an excess of $10,000 seized.
One high-end vehicle was also seized and stolen property has been recovered, including a valuable guitar and motorcycle stolen during break-in’s to local properties.
A 32-year-old man from Whyalla, two men aged 68 and 57-years and two women aged 40 and 41 from Whyalla Norrie have been arrested.
Three people from Port Augusta have also been arrested, including a 40-year-old man and 46-year-old woman from Port Augusta West and a 30-year-old Port Augusta man.
