In response to community confusion over fire jurisdictions in Moonta Mines and Kadina, the CFS and MFS are teaming up on Northern Yorke Peninsula.

They’ve pledged to adjust response areas as needed to protect the community better.

The joint effort comes after a recent fire sparked uncertainty about local service jurisdictions.

Both agencies are working together to implement a unified response framework, ensuring the most suitable resources are dispatched for emergencies.
