An investigation is underway into a serious accident that occurred in Port Wakefield on Saturday night.
Around 9pm, emergency services responded to reports of a collision on Old Port Wakefield Road involving a Mitsubishi Mirage and an ASX.
It’s alleged the Mirage struck the ASX three times, causing the front vehicle to leave the road.

When police arrived, they found the 34-year-old Mirage driver from Mallala unconscious – authorities suspect another vehicle might have been involved and the Mirage driver could have been assaulted.
The four occupants of the ASX, all from Two Wells, were unharmed.
Police are asking anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
