Two drivers were spotted doing the wrong thing on Friday last week, 9 August.
Just before 3:40 am that morning, Kadina patrols located a Mazda Utility in an obscure position on Port Victoria Road.
They submitted the 68-year-old driver to a breath test and he blew 0.161.
He was reported and will appear in court.
Later that day, a 23-year-old woman copped a hefty fine after being caught speeding on Stuart Highway.
Just before 3 pm, patrols were conducting speed detection duties on the highway just south of Pimba when a vehicle was detected travelling 144 km/h in a 110 km/h zone.
She was issued an expiation notice of $1,786 and seven demerit points.
