The world-renowned Nilpena Ediacara National Park in the Flinders Ranges celebrated it’s first birthday on Saturday, 27 April.
The Park is regarded as the richest Ediacaran fossil site on Earth, with some specimens dating back around 550 million years.
Nilpena has been included in the bid to have the Flinders Ranges added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
