It’s hoped we’ll see more new faces at events in regional South Australia with support from the Regional Event Fund.

Over $530,000 has been distributed to 37 events and festivals across the state as part of the SA Tourism Commission’s boost.

Local events set to benefit include Seafood on Spencer, Copper Coast Cornish Festival, Grounded YP Art Festival, Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb, the Laura Fair, and Clare Valley Gourmet Week.

Minister for Tourism Zoe Bettison said she’s thrilled with the range of events included in this year’s fund.

“Delivered through the South Australian Tourism Commission, the Regional Event Fund is an important initiative that supports a thriving events calendar across our state, helping trigger visitation as those thinking about exploring our state commit to a trip, the Minister said.

“With 43 cents in every tourism dollar spent in the regions, it is important we continue to drive visitation across regional South Australia.”
