Earlier this week, schools across the state received hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Federal Government.
One of the big winners was Augusta Park Primary School, who received just over $3 million, which Principal Bec Mueller plans to spend wisely.
“We’re hoping to create a resource centre that’s modern and flexible that connects to the outdoor learning area and also enables effective STEM education and helps boost our kids’ IT proficiency,” Mueller says.

The money will also go towards creating nature areas, upgrading playgrounds, and creating clubs and support programs for students and adults.
