Whyalla residents will have their questions answered on Sunday, with the South Australian Premier in town for the Major Economic Summit.
Whyalla Mayor Phill Stone says this is the perfect opportunity for locals to ask the Premier and his Ministers direct questions, ensuring they gain first-hand knowledge of future initiatives – particularly around housing.
“Council has been actively encouraging the Premier and Government for probably a good 18 months to release a lot of the land that they own so that we can get some development going, Mayor Stone says.
“Also, things like the former Whyalla High School – we’re hoping that they may have more information about how that’s going to be maintained in the future.”
The Whyalla event will be on Sunday, 25 February, from 4:45pm.
