Throughout AFL’s history, we’ve seen some pretty questionable guernseys coming from the teams.
However, on Thursday night, it was the league itself coming under fire as they released something special for Gather Round.
As the AFL heads to Adelaide for the second Gather Round event, they introduced their own unique guernsey.
With all 18 teams playing in the one city over the weekend, fans have more chances to see multiple teams in action and if you’re one of the many who are planning to watch as many teams as possible the round, the AFL has got you covered.
The league revealed a new Gather Round guernsey on X which features logos from all 18 teams and gives off ultimate nuffie vibes.

The response hasn’t exactly been what the AFL would have been hoping for, as fans have ripped shreds off the design.
Former player Andrew Walsh simply commented, “Yuck.”
Journalist Mark Gottlieb commented, “If this is a real jumper for sale, it’s easily the worst piece of AFL merchandise I’ve ever seen.”
Burn that jumper

Another user expressed concerns saying that if you were spotted wearing the shirt in Melbourne you would basically be walking around with a target on your back.
While many others requested the league to “burn” the jumper as soon as possible.
