There may be a new Blink 182 release coming our way or at the very least, a huge announcement following their Instagram page being wiped over the weekend. Following this, their website is also currently ‘Under Construction’ and only displaying a bunny tapping its foot on top of a message saying “hard at work”.
To excite fans even more, NME reports Blink’s official Twitter account has also been doing the rounds liking a bunch of seemingly random tweets from around 2012-2013. A notable one was, “It’s going to be really strange in 10 years when blink182 is classic rock and we hear it in drug stores and elevators,” which was shared by a fan nearly 10 years ago. There was also another tweet from October 2012, “Blink-182 is writing a new album! It should be released in the next 10 years or so!”
Over the past few days, fans all around the world have spotted billboards with the band’s logo mysteriously appearing in random spots without mentioning anything in particular.
For example, a fan spotted this new logo which was spotted on a billboard in Peru

When questioned by fellow fans on twitter, the user also shared a photo of these posters which look to be advertising something called “182 Industries” that state “your future is cumming…in the blink of an eye.”

All of this secretive and exciting marketing comes on the back of band leader Mark Hoppus, who shared with People that he, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker are back on good terms explaining that “Everybody’s in a really great place right now,” and also adding to that by saying “I keep writing music, and I’m open to whatever the next phase of Blink is. I’m hopeful for the future. I’m just d**n glad to be here.”
