In a recent interview with Vanity Fair Channing revealed he has the rights to Patrick Swayze’s classic ‘Ghost’ and plans to remake it.
“We actually have the rights … to ‘Ghost.’” Tatum said in the interview.
Tatum went on to “tell [us] about how his production company, Free Association, is trying to pull together a remake of ‘Ghost,’” with him eyeing off Patrick Swayze’s role of Sam Wheat.

He went onto explain how he’s version of the movie won’t be the same, “we’re going to do something different,” discussing how the 1990 original contains out dated stereotypes. “I think it needs to change a little bit”, he said.
No official dates have been set for production on this film to begin, but watch this space.
