4th Spider-Man Film Starring Tom Holland Set for 2026 Release

Tom Holland is all set to swing back into action as Spider-Man. The much-anticipated fourth film in the series is scheduled to hit theatres in July 2026, according to Sony Pictures. This latest instalment will see a change in direction with Daniel Destin Cretton taking the helm. Cretton is known for directing Marvel’s “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and was previously lined up for “Avengers: Kang Dynasty” before leaving that project, which has since been rebranded as “Avengers: Doomsday.”

The last three Spider-Man films featuring Holland—”Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home”—were directed by Jon Watts and have collectively raked in an impressive $3.9 billion globally.

Fans are eagerly awaiting what new twists and turns the upcoming movie will offer. In a recent chat on “Good Morning America,” Holland shared his excitement about the project, saying, “It’s a little different to anything we’ve done before, but I think the fans are going to really respond to it.”

Sony has officially set July 24, 2026, as the film’s release date. Holland also mentioned on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” that filming is expected to start next summer, adding another layer of anticipation for Spider-Man enthusiasts around the world. With a new director and fresh ideas, this Spider-Man film promises to be an exciting addition to the series.
